In an exciting collaboration developed through participation in the Leadership New Zealand programme, fellow participant Chellie Spiller, gave her AUT maori management students an assignment, which led to a fundraising event for our Charity Store, CHANGES.
Three teams of students visited the Ellerslie Centre of Te Waipuna Puawai (TWP) to present their proposals to a panel of three TWP staff that critiqued and provided constructive feedback on the strengths and opportunities within each of their proposals.
The outcome of this assignment was the collection of a number of high quality pre-loved items that could be sold in our store. A win-win for both the students and our organisation.
