CE now an alumni member of Leadership New Zealand

Saturday 19th November, the CE graduated from the Leadership New Zealand programme at an event in Auckland central and attended by the Chair of the TWP Board.

This event was the culmination of a year long programme for current and emerging leaders from private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Up to 34 leaders participate in the programme, which includes nine monthly events during the year. Six of the events are two full days in length and three are three days. Each monthly session includes presentations from, and discussions with guest speakers, debates, full day seminars and retreats. The events take place throughout New Zealand to ensure the diversity of perspective that is important to building a real understanding of key leadership issues.

Events are focused and address current and emerging New Zealand issues. The focus and approach is designed to take participants deepinto a topic, and to expand their understanding through comprehensive pre-event reading and exposure to a wide diversity of speakers. The Chatham House Rule applies so that conversations embrace detail that would not be available elsewhere.

Attendees commit to being available to each other and to their community on an ongoing basis. After graduation, they become part of the Leadership New Zealand Alumni and will be involved in SkillsBank.
