Kara Laifone
Whānau Navigator | Kaiwhiriwhiri Whānau
Nō ngā iwi o Te Rarawa me Tapuika ahau. Ko Te Rarawa me Te Paamu ngā marae.
Ko Kara ahau. I am a Whānau Ora Navigator for Te Waipuna Puawai. I will be supporting whānau in Rānui and the wider West Auckland area.
What I enjoy most is meeting whānau and walking alongside them on their journey. I enjoy supporting whānau to identify their personal goals, work through challenges, and achieve the best outcomes for themselves and their whānau.
This mahi is not just about connecting whānau to services. It is also about building trust, listening without judgement, understanding each whānau situation, and supporting them at their own pace.
Community means connection, support, and belonging. It is about people looking after one another, sharing knowledge, and creating safe spaces where whānau feel heard, valued, and supported.
I hope whānau feel welcomed, respected, and supported. I want them to know they are not alone, and that TWP is here to walk alongside them with care, understanding, and aroha.
